Shard vessel / white sand

This handmade vessel is a unique piece, part of a series of ongoing objects that explore quarried rocks and natural materials, and my work developing the material qualities of glazes. The piece is glazed with a semi-matte, transparent glaze partly made using foraged beach sand, which creates a crackled transparent cream glaze with matte white accents
