Moïo Studio was founded in 2016, and is the ceramic studio practice of Franco-Palestinian artist Maia Beyrouti, who currently lives and works in Berlin.
Focusing on experimental glaze work, the studio creates handmade objects that come together as a result of the studio’s ongoing clay materials research, which informs a desire for certain forms and techniques inspired by architecture, raw materials, and celebrating mundane, utilitarian or overlooked details. All of the work is handmade by the artist in her studio.
