Tulip Open Vessel II

225

1 in stock

This vessel is handmade using slabs of clay I pressed into molds made during a residency in Lisbon in Spring 2024. It is part of a body of work exploring press molds, ornament and the built environment.
The pieces are assembled on a base into a Tulip form, before being glazed with a mix of a watery green crackle glaze layered with a matte white glaze, accents of violet and an ash glaze made from ash collected in the urban environment.

The piece in the photo is unique and the exact piece you will receive from purchasing this listing.
All pieces are signed on the bottom and come with a certificate of authenticity.
