Basin Ash Vessel

This handmade vessel is a unique piece, the form started as a playful take on water basins and a desire to be able to put varying sizes and amounts of flowers in a single piece, and has now turned into a design I wish to repeat at various sizes and glazes. This piece is glazed with overlays of porcelain, a crackle glaze and an ash glaze I developed, creating a watery and textured surface. It can easily stand on its own as a statement piece and can be used with flowers.
